NGSL Project Store

In Focus (Browne, Culligan & Phillips, 2023) is a new 4-level EFL textbook series put out through Kinseido Publishing to teach the NGSL and NAWL through reading, discussion and critical thinking skills activities. The series utilizes many of the great free online resources we developed for the NGSL Project. In Focus 1 and 2 as well as In Focus Academic 1 were published in 2023, with In Focus Intro slated to be released in late 2024. More information about the series can be found here..

After creating an NGSL Project coffee mug for myself (as a daily reminder to keep my eye on the good work we are trying to accomplish here), several friends approached me to ask how they could get one too. I decided to make a limited number of NGSL Project logo goods for those who would like to show support for our lists and our work. The items are made and shipped through Printify and though the prices they charge are not cheap, the quality seems quite good. Link to my popup store is here.

EnglishCentral makes extensive use of NGSL Project wordlists to help systematically teach vocabulary though the context of authentic videos. Much of the original 'Watch, Speak, Learn" pedagogy was developed by NGSL Project co-founder, Dr Charles Browne in the early days of the company when he worked as an educational consultant for EnglishCentral.
